  • I built these nightstands to match our new bed RIGHT before we moved. I can not wait to pull them out of storage and use them!! I looked everywhere for pulls I thought would go with them and I found these from @dlawlesshardware 😍😍 #obsessed I’m definitely using these again. They’re HUGE (17” long) and super clean and modern. And you seriously won’t believe their prices.   • I keep apologizing for being MIA. And while I do feel somewhat guilty, I also kind of don’t. So, sorry, I’m only kind of sorry 😂 see, blogging and content creating is my DREAM day job. But, it’s not my ACTUAL day job. It may never be, but I’ll work at it until it’s no longer worth it, I suppose. Anyway...so it’s hard to feel TOO guilty since this is “just for fun.” But, With everything that’s going on, it’s been kind of nice to not have the pressure to create constantly and I’ve enjoyed a little break. BUT, while editing pictures for a blog post (first one in a month!! 🙈), I realize how much I miss going to the shop after work everyday and piddling. Maybe a break was what I needed to light a fire again so when I’m back in business, my hearts all in? Who knows. What I do know, is we are about to build a home, I’m about to have a shop again, and we are about to have an exciting, stressful, and expensive adventure. Pray for our sanity.   • Happy Independence Day!! Hope everyone is enjoying time with heir families and friends today! In other news, I don’t want to get ahead of myself here, but we closed on our house yesterday. It was bittersweet. Actually, more bitter than sweet and there were tears involved. It was sad to leave. BUT, if plans work out, this view may be ours soon 😍😍 honestly, id take almost any view at this point to have a home to call our own again 🙈😂 but...soon 😬 #houseadventure #aplacetocallhome #tinyliving #countryside #kentucky #home
  • I know this isn’t a pretty picture, but you all are always so helpful, so I thought I’d ask my woodworking girls where to find some new workboots? I’ve looked everywhere and all I can find are “cute cowboy” style boots. But I need WORK boots. Boots to wear to the factory during the day and in the Woodshop at night. Help a girl out! My current boots are shot. The whole sole is worn through 🙈 Tell me what your fav brands are and where to shop 💪👍💸 #workworkwork #workboots

And honestly, I kind of think it’s because the unfinished birch plywood is so pretty on the inside 😍 I love simple, unfinished plywood cabinets. So clean. So simple. The huge drawers on the bottom are perfect for t shirt and hoodie hoarders like me 🙈 (I mean 150 t shirts and 20 hoodies is totally normal, right?)   • I’m sure that raising two daughters (who were complete opposites, by the way) was no small task for a hardworking manly man like my dad.
